My parents purchased a home 28 years ago, and yes it is a pulte home. Not only did pulte not finish our neighborhood, the foundation is starting to collapse around us. This shoddy work that is probably done by the subcontractors they hire. These houses are good for the first 10 years but then just start to crumble. It is a very sad situation for all the blood, sweat and tears my parents put in this house. Word of advice- think twice before buying Pulte. Do your research before losing on your investment by purchasing PULTE. Shame on you Mr Pulte for hiring subcontractors that can't do the job. 128c4d2

Another thing Mr or Ms "Are you for real". Fashionbug 20 did not state that she upset that there is "maintenance" on her parents 28 year old home. She is stating that the foundations is literally crumbling around her. You should be ashamed.

Fashionbug 20. My prayers are with you and your family. Use your experience to spread the word and warn others about these homes. You will be doing a good deed for all. I almost purchased one recently but comments like yours helped me. Thank you!!

No, Are YOU for real? Who are you and what are your interests? The only reason I can think of that you would care enough to come to this site to insult another person with problems is someone with an interest in Pulte. Do your research and wake up. A well buil home can last 100s of years. A home should last well beyond a lifetime. This is not a car. Maintenance is one thing, a home that is literally falling apart is another. Get off this blog!

(Anyone else reading this, I have done my research. Pulte homes are very pretty and very cheap but horribly built!! You may get one that lasts a while but its likely you won't. Do you really want to roll the dice on your life savings. Read the blogs, please!!)

Well the sad thing is that a lot of these issues happen to start when the house was about 10 years old. We tried to sell the house and the potential buyers researched and found that the neighborhood was not complete. If you read correctly it was Mr Pulte who HIRED subcontractors to do the job and did not pay close attention to the shoddy work they did- we have spent more money on this house repairing problems then it was worth.

Your post does not cite one single issue that was caused by your builder. The home is 28 years old. With every home (especially a 28 year old home) there is homeowner maintenance.
